This trick will ought to make them think.
This trick video is made to look like an actual app, right down to entering the app with the icon at the start. It contains the soundtrack from the original game and has screen overlays to make it look like a real game application.
Turn your iPod Touch 1G and 2G, iPod Classic 6G, iPod Nano 3G and 4G, and iPhone 2G and 3G into a KITT scanner! For iPod Nano 4G and iPod Touch 1G it won't work as well . . . sorry. Lean your iPod touch, or iPhone against something so that it faces the right way up, for the iPod Classic 6G and iPod nano 3G stick in a speaker dock, and there it goes! Now originally I was going to have 3 different videos in the one zip package . . but to have that done you would be downloading a 58MB file that would take me yonks to upload! Also it would chew up our download speed, because all of the different formats for the different iPods all together in one big ZIP folder would have added up to 400MB and you wouldn't download that either!
This is one of the first Ben's iPod Tricks that you actually don't need to do anything! Just sit it there and it will play for a minute. That's it, no fiddling, no learning timing, just something for your friends to gawk at.

A trick for the iPod touch. Play it over and over to get use to the timing.
Bring your friend over to a GameBoy Advance that has no game cartridge, hold the iPod so that it is pointing towards it, say to your friend that it takes awhile for the ipod to notice the GameBoy, after about 3 seconds a box will appear saying Analizing . . .then . . . scanning. . . then 'Starting a connection' The screen will go dark then a box will ask you to rotate your iPod. Rotate it onto it's LEFT side. Then the gameboy advance startup will go on then stop pretend to press the home button and a box will come up saying 'Loading . . .' then the screen will go dark and another box will tell you to rotate the iPod, then the menu will appear with a box saying 'Ending Connection' when that box disappears you have 5 seconds until the video ends, which is best to stop your friend seeing the video menu appear, otherwise they will definately know somethings on. . .

Say that it takes a while for the iPod to find the xbox and that you need to wait a moment, then the box comes up and says Analizing, Scanning and finally starting up connection. the screen will go dark then a box will come up telling you to rotate your iPod. Rotate onto it's LEFT side. Do so then watch as your friend sees the xbox startup then moves onto the dashboard. Use your finger and pretend to scroll through the different menus. Then pretend to press the home button and it will come up with a box saying Loading, the screen will go dark and you will go back to the ipod menu. you have 5 seconds after being taken the the ipod menu before the video stops. So hide the view of the screen from your friend then press the home button . . .
